Responsible Gun Ownership

You can sign up for “I Defend Me” carrying concealed classes. Classes are generally one day, however, two day options are available. Classes are six hours in the classroom with a written exam at the conclusion. There will be up to two hours at the gun range for the live fire qualification. The total cost of both classes is $85.00.

Live Fire

Each student of the CCDW class is required to perform a live fire shoot. To qualify, the student must shoot the target a minimum of 11 out of 20 shots. If you don’t have a firearm I Defend Me can provide one for the training.

The I Defend Me CCDW class is a requirement for obtaining your Kentucky Conceal Carry permit. However, please seek additional training after obtaining your permit. The more training with I Defend Me and other creditable instructors, along with practice time, the better you will be at defending yourself.
